Our Neuroscience Research System redefines "large–scale" by offering over 100,000 microwire electrodes for massively–parallel neural recordings.
At the heart of our system lies a custom CMOS array of low–noise, high–speed amplifiers to which bundles of microwire electrodes are connected. Each microwire consists of a metal–in–glass fiber with an outer diameter of less than 20 µm.
The system can be run in the following modes, depending on your needs:
300,000 channels at 1.6 kHz
30,000 channels at 16 kHz
10,000 channels at 32 kHz
Custom built from the ground up, our system is more than capable of handling the ~ 8 gigabits per second of raw data generated by the sensor. It can simultaneously store the data to disk and show a real–time preview of the data.
